Lending Resources

Loan Applications and Helpful Tools

Timberland Bank Loan Officers work hard to provide you with a worry-free lending experience from start to finish. These resources can help you get started with your loan and navigate the loan process.

Loan Documentation Checklists

At Timberland Bank, our goal is to provide you with the information and professional service needed to accommodate a smooth loan application process, from start to finish. The Loan Documentation Checklist outlines the documents and information that may be requested when you begin applying for a home loan.

Please use the Construction Loan Documentation Checklist if you are interested in a Timberland Bank Construction Loan. The documentation that may be requested for a construction loan differs from the materials needed to apply for a home loan.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is the interest rate on my mortgage loan? Fixed interest rates change every day. Please contact one of our helpful loan specialists for today's rate, or call 800-562-8761 to be directed to the branch that is most convenient for you.
  • When I apply for a loan, what costs do I pay up front? When applying for a loan at Timberland Bank, we collect in advance for the application fee.
  • Can I manage my own construction project rather than hire a contractor? Yes, Timberland Bank welcomes those who wish to take advantage of our Owner/Builder program. As an Owner/Builder you will actively manage your home construction project with the guidance of an experienced Timberland loan specialist.
  • How do I draw funds on a construction loan? We use a construction voucher system that will help you disburse funds for your construction loan to your vendors and suppliers. Paying in this manner creates a system of controls as you match your construction budget to the actual dollars spent.
