Community Giving

Timberland Bank was founded in 1915 to serve the financial needs of individuals, families and businesses. Over one century later, the commitment continues.

Committed to Our Communities

Each year Timberland Bank earmarks funds for charitable giving to assist with local needs. In giving back to local causes, we enrich not only our communities and hometowns, but also our company and ourselves.

Outside of banking hours, many Timberland Bank employees donate their hands and hearts to organizations serving local needs, like food and animal shelters, education and mentorship programs, fundraising organizations and more.

Supporting Nonprofits

Toni MacMillan and Tonya Nelson pose for photo with volunteers while delivering a check to the Aberdeen Food Bank.

Whether it’s economic development, the arts, education or health and human services, we are proud to provide monetary donations to support the nonprofits that strengthen the quality of life we enjoy in our communities.

Bettering Our Communities

Timberland Bank branches collected 601 of jars of peanut butter and jelly for the Puyallup food bank.

In addition to volunteer hours and monetary donations, we are proud of our employees who lend their areas of expertise by serving as chairs and board members in local community groups, including numerous Chamber of Commerce, Rotary, Lions and Kiwanis Clubs.
