Caring for Our Community
Timberland Bank is proud to invest in our local communities through generous charitable giving. We appreciate the opportunity to support organizations, programs and events that strengthen the communities we care about and call home.
Giving back to the communities we serve is a natural extension of our business. Timberland staff members contribute their time, talent and treasures to serve as leaders, board members and volunteers in organizations throughout our community. In giving back to local causes we enrich not only our communities, but also our company and ourselves.

Shred Days
Our South Hill, Chehalis, Elma, Gig Harbor and Ocean Shores branches held shred days to collect old tax documents and files. Along with shredding documents, we also collected food and monetary donations for our local food banks.
Habitat for Humanity
We have been thrilled to partner with our local Habitat for Humanity organizations over the years to help build housing in our communities. A team of Timberland employees worked with Tacoma/Pierce County Habitat for Humanity to frame walls on a triplex project.
Supporting Our Local Food Banks
In 2025, Timberland Bank donated $41,000 towards some of our local food banks in Grays Harbor County.
These organizations work tirelessly to provide meals and hope to those in need. Together, we're making a difference and building a stronger community!
Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines Grants
Timberland Bank partnered with the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines to present a total of $772,000 to 43 different organizations across Western Washington in 2024. The Member Impact Fund provided $3 for every $1 donated to an eligible non-profit.
“Through this program, we were able to substantially increase contributions to important, local organizations serving the communities of Grays Harbor, Kitsap, Lewis, Pierce and Thurston counties," Timberland Bank CEO Dean Brydon said.
